Description
We are excited to introduce our boysenberry plant, a delicious and flavorful addition to any garden.
The boysenberry is a large, juicy, and flavorful fruit that is a cross between a blackberry, raspberry, and loganberry. These plants are low maintenance and easy to grow, making them perfect for gardeners of all experience levels.
Boysenberries prefer well-draining soil that is moist but not waterlogged and thrive in full sun to partial shade. They can be planted in containers or directly in the ground and are best trellised or supported as they can grow quite large. Boysenberries are self-fertile, but planting more than one plant can increase the yield.
Planting instructions: Boysenberries should be planted in the spring after the last frost or in early fall. Choose a sunny spot with well-draining soil and dig a hole that is deep enough to accommodate the plant’s root ball and wide enough to allow room for growth. Backfill the hole with soil and water well. Boysenberries should be trellised or supported as they grow.
pro tip: plant next to native flowers to get bigger berries!
Please note: We hold a nursery license and are able to ship live, bareroot plants to all states except CA, OR, LA, and AK.
