What makes American Beautyberry unique?
The American Beautyberry stands out with its show-stopping, iridescent purple berries that encircle its stems, creating a striking and uncommon visual effect. This shrub is also incredibly easy to care for, requiring minimal maintenance once established.
Listing is for one (1) American Beautyberry plant, sold bare-root from a 3-gallon pot. We take great care to ensure that your plant is expertly prepared for shipping, arriving at your doorstep with a healthy root system, ready to burst into growth in your garden.
Planting Instructions:
Select a location in your garden that receives full sun to partial shade with well-draining soil. Dig a hole that is twice as wide and the same depth as the root ball. Gently place the shrub in the hole, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface. Backfill the hole with soil, water thoroughly to settle the roots, and apply a layer of organic mulch to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a strong root system.
Please note: We hold a nursery license and are able to ship live, bare-root plants to all states except CA, OR, LA, and AK.
