Description

Bocking 14 Russian Comfrey is a well-known dynamic accumulator grown in USDA zones 3-9. Comfrey is great to use as mulch, chicken feed, or as a fertilizer for other plants. It has a long taproot that helps bring minerals to the earths surface for other plants to use. Russian comfrey is the best companion plant for many trees or shrubs and is a great addition to permaculture food forests.

What makes Bocking-14 Russian Comfrey unique?
It doesn’t produce seeds! You don’t have to worry about it spreading and taking over your garden.

Listing is for 4 one- inch roots

Instructions:
Dig a small hole where you want to plant your new comfrey. Remove the paper towel and place one root cutting per hole. Be sure to space them at least 4 feet apart. Cover the hole up and water. They should sprout within 10-18 days.

Please note: We hold a nursery license and are able to ship live, bareroot plants to all states except CA, OR, LA, and AK.
