Planting Instructions:
Choose a location with partial to full shade and well-draining soil. Amend heavy clay soils with organic matter to improve drainage if necessary. Dig a hole twice as wide and just as deep as the root ball. Position the plant in the center of the hole so that the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil. Backfill the hole, water thoroughly to settle the soil, and apply a layer of mulch to help retain moisture and protect the roots from temperature extremes.
