The pairing of ‘John’s’ and ‘Adam’s’ varieties is designed to optimize pollination, leading to more abundant and reliable fruiting. This duo enables gardeners to enjoy a bountiful and fruitful season, as each variety enhances the pollination and fruit set of the other.

Listing is for two (2) 1-year-old starter elderberry plants, one ‘John’s’ and one ‘Adam’s’, sold bareroot and carefully packaged to guarantee a successful start when planted in your garden.

Planting Instructions:
Select a location that receives full sun to partial shade and has fertile, well-drained soil. Dig two holes approximately 6-10 feet apart to provide ample space for growth and to facilitate cross-pollination. Plant each elderberry at the same depth it was growing previously, with the root crown level with the soil surface. Fill in the holes, water well to settle the soil around the roots, and add a layer of mulch to help maintain soil moisture and temperature.

Please note: We hold a nursery license and are able to ship live, bareroot plants to all states except CA, OR, LA, and AK.
